The short and skinny of it all was that after the hard love lesson of Thursday, I had some success in the form of a scheduled follow-up call on Monday and two appointments on Tuesday and Wednesday, one of which was a callback from one of my very first prospects 3 weeks ago. Go figure!
I made a handful of additional calls and before too long had to wrap up because it was time to go to work. The good part was that I am having some success with a sales process that moves from the prospecting call to a supplementary email, which is then followed by a follow-up call to schedule an appointment to make a close.
With that in mind, I’ll continue to do more calls on Monday and follow the same pattern, making changes if and when necessary. Wish me luck!
